Representation Summary:

Improving the road system in the village to cater for further homes would put the road at risk of heavier vehicles cutting through the village, which is already a problem. The road has poor visibility with sharp bends to negotiate. The junction at The Green can be dangerous and to add further junctions on these bends at the proposed development sites would add to the danger along Hackford Road.
This proposed development would increase commuting (to work, school, college, shops, surgery etc) through and out of the village. The construction would also add heavy and noisy HGV traffic.

Change suggested by respondent:

A reduction in the scale of development to reduce the potential stress on roads. There is little employment and no shops, post office or surgery in this village meaning this proposed development and the smaller proposed development will increase road use to adjacent communities to commute and access their facilities.
