The additional area is at odds with the present linear village. The highway and infrastructure does not support this additional housing. The exit for this land is onto a section of highway with limited view and has safety implications to road users.
The reduction in land to support only linear growth adjacent to the existing highway as the existing dwellings.

The site already has farm vehicles accessing the land. The road cannot cope with a further influx of cars on a hill with bad visibility and a history of accidents. Eel Catcher Close was a special exception as it was affordable housing, planning applications have already been refused on the site. There is no precedent for this development. This is already the end of the village and to go ahead with this site would be outside of the linear nature of the existing housing.
The plan needs to be abandoned. The environmental impact is too great.
