This proposal is quite clearly outside the development boundary which SNDC itself has confirmed is not changing. It has had historic refusals for development, would be detached from other housing in the village and a major intrusion into the landscape.

I agree with these objectives, but only in the context of a much broader need to preserve the village's ambience and heritage - so, frankly, 45.3 doesn't go far enough.
