In addition to the hedgerows and mature trees on the south and est boudaries a line of mature oak trees currently forms a boundary between the adjoing sites These should be protected - they provide important habitat and irreplaceable components in a climate change strategy. Planting new trees cannot come close to recovering the carbon mitigation provided by mature trees.
