Starston’s limit is appropriate.
Starston’s heavily trafficked, narrow roads, most of which have no pavement, are used by HGVs and others travelling between A143 and A140.
Up to 600 vehicles an hour enter the village (traffic count, village centre 2018).
At a workshop where residents wanting to “build in their gardens” were specifically encouraged to attend (see full page advert November 2018 Pigeon Post) over two thirds expressed road safety concerns. (Q1 what do you want for Starston? Neighbourhood Plan consultation/ analysis 17/11/18)
Only agile adults capable of using PROW / Permissive Paths can walk to Harleston.
