A revised version of SN4068 should be supported as a preferred site. SN4068 was put forward for 12 dwellings on 0.8 ha but noting comments in the Suitability Assessment about the size and the gap between different parts of the settlement, it is considered that a reduced area of 0.4 ha for 5 or 6 dwellings (see attached plan) would overcome concerns. Adjacent land was granted permission in 2017 (2017/2096).
The site is sold to a developer. This additional land is a logical extension to the village, is well and safely connected through 2017/2096 and is deliverable immediately.

We believe site SN4009 should be allocated or an allowance for a settlement limit extension made as the settlement boundary is to the east of Rode Lane and directly to the south of the proposed site. This would allow for an extension of the linear development along the Road and would match the east side of the road leading to the cross roads. Mitigation can be easily put in place for any heritage assets, landscape mitigation or surface water flooding.

Outside the IDD boundary and partially within the Norfolk Rivers watershed catchment.
If surface water discharges within the watershed catchment of the Board's IDD, we request that this discharge is facilitated in line with the Non-statutory technical standards for sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
