The number of comments is displayed in brackets next to the icons. Note that comments received are processed by administrative staff before publication so newly posted comments will not appear here immediately.
Viewing Maps
Where there is an interactive map of a site or Settlement Limit, there will be a map pin icon adjacent to the relevant question. To view the map, click on the icon. Once in the map, you can see further brief details on each site by double-clicking on the site. The further information includes the proposed 'Use' of the Preferred and Shortlisted sites, as well as what the sites were originally 'Submitted' for. All area measurements are in hectares (ha) and the > symbol has been used to indicate development 'up to' a certain amount.
The maps also include a number of other 'layers', which the Council has used in the site assessment process, such as Flood Risk Zones, Conservation Areas and various wildlife/habitat designations, these can be switched on and off using the Map Layers tab at the bottom of the map.
If you wish to see PDF versions of the maps, these can be found in Map Booklets (organised by Cluster) in the Supporting Documents, which can be found on the homepage, or via the Key Documents in the Virtual Exhibition. Site Assessment Booklets for each Cluster can also be found in these locations.
