Representation Summary:

Development of land near the school must be in-keeping with surroundings given that the Church is within its boundary. Safe access to the B1113 and the road safety of schoolchildren must be considered. The Turnpike boundary must represent the maximum possible extent of development at this time and must not represent the beginnings of the development of the whole site, as put forward in the LDF a decade ago and defeated 9:1 in a public vote. Extensive development of this site would break the naturally-established linear patterns of Bunwell’s settlements and create a nucleated settlement away from the village centre.
