Duty to co-operate? No

Representation Summary:

Local school is at capacity. The alternative has limited capacity and too far.

New Road has speeding/traffic problems. Police regularly speed-check this area. The road is not a 2-lane road. Residents often park road-side which creates single lane traffic.

Site is on blind corner and will create accident hazard.

Not safely accessible for pedestrians to the rest of the village.

Area has suffered from flooding, this site will exacerbate this problem.

A 15 house estate on a road with only single dwelling sites is not in character.

Intrusion into open country side.

Previous sites have been rejected for these reasons.

Change suggested by respondent:

Significant reduction in number of houses (less than 5); corrective action on flooding hazard; limit site to the enclosed field and keep trees on all sides of site. Though will potentially still be problematic depending on the plan.
