Representation Summary:

Current traffic movements taken from SAM2 camera data show that there were 29,000 vehicle movements in and out of the village on Church Road in January. This is a fair representation of vehicle movements monthly. Significant road improvements would be needed. These are not possible given the village layout (church/pond/housing).
Cllr Graham Plant, supporting the Norwich Western Link, recognises that many local Norfolk roads are single track and not designed to take high levels of traffic and the ensuing knock-on impacts (road safety, air quality in communities, and less reliable journey times. Yet the VCHAP proposal will do just that.

Change suggested by respondent:

Alpington and Yelverton and Bergh Apton are not suitable sites for development given the impact on local roads and should be discounted.
