- Flooding risk in severe weather. Drains overflow into road, causing a river of water which flows into gardens.
- Small rural road inadequate for increase at certain times of the day. Cars speed along this road and the situation will be made worse by extra 15 houses.
- Road not gritted in icy weather. More traffic creating hazard in winter months.
- A small housing development with pavement is not in keeping with the rural character of New Road. The present character of the road is mainly cottages with grass verges.
- A new development would b damaging to the environment. This area is rich in bird life and small mammals, such as hedgehogs. Tawny owls frequent the proposed site.

The pumping station needs upgrading
The trees and habitat needs keeping
The traffic issues need dealing with along with speeding issues
It does not meet with the local look and character of the road
The dwelling should not be 15 its too many
the environment will be harmed and needs looking at urgently
