Representation Summary:

The site is adjacent to a primary school which already causes traffic and parking issues at pick-up and drop-off times. The pavements along School Road are insufficient at the junction with Church Road, where pedestrians are forced to walk in the road near a blind corner due to lack of pavement. School Road is a popular shortcut to the A143 from Bungay, due to parking on both sides of the main village road providing an obstruction to traffic, the speed at which cars are travelling has lead to the parish council installing speed awareness meters.

Change suggested by respondent:

The council needs to review the entirety of School Road and its environs before adding more outlets to the road, particularly with regards to the safety of children.
