Representation Summary:

The utility services in this area stretched to breaking point. Water frequently
cut off or reduced in pressure. UK Power Network have stated that there is no spare capacity for
Electrical supplies. Drainage and sewers at this side of the village at capacity. Further
development risks harm to flora, fauna and
increased flooding. Site is a flood plain. Increased run off
down New Inn Hill would cause flooding at the Staithe and contaminate
the River Yare. To rectify the power, water and drainage issues to accommodate such an increase in
housing would require a huge investment and disruption.

Change suggested by respondent:

No more than 5 houses should be built and these should run south, end on to New Inn Hill. This would minimise visual and environmental impact.
