There are wide grass verges between the site access road and the junction of The Street with Mill Road (blind bend), from there to The Green the road is very narrow and there are limited opportunities to step off the road. Vehicles will also access the site from the direction of Rectory Road, the speed limit is 40mph from the A140 junction with Rectory Road, decreasing to 30mph after approx 1/2 mile, again the road is narrow in places and there are dangerous bends. Older people, people pushing pushchairs and cyclists are not able to move onto verges.
Clarity that extra vehicles will access the site from both directions and that pedestrians and cyclists also walk to the Post Office on Rectory Road and to the bust stops of the A140, not just towards the school and village hall. It also needs to be clear that there would be an increase in vehicles using these roads.
