Representation Summary:
There were 29,000 vehicle movements in and out of the village on Church Road in January. That is a normal month and any development would increase the vehicle movements significantly. The roads are already dangerous and major road improvements would be needed. These are not possible given the village layout (church/pond/housing).
The roads into the village are single track, with informal passing points carved out of the banks and not designed to take high levels of traffic and the ensuing knock-on impacts road safety, air quality in communities, and less reliable journey times.
Change suggested by respondent:
Remove ALP1 from the VCHAP.
