Sewage and waste water back up and causes houses from 62 to 68 Mill Rd to have their toilets back up until the system is cleared by anglian water (48 hours or more minimum) unable to use toilet or domestic foul water and sewage drainage . Other houses in Mill Rd may suffer from this but I have not canvassed these residents. These houses are at the end of the sewer pipe run opposite where the new house are proposed.
The sewage and waste water network needs to be upgraded to always be fit for purpose as is and certainly upgraded to take the effluent from additional housing and people. The existing sewer system must therefore be inadequate for its intended purpose to service the new proposed development.
