QUESTION 160: Do you agree
Representation ID: 329
Received: 07/07/2021
Respondent: Shelfanger Parish Council
The access to this Shelfanger, shortlisted site would be directly onto the B1077 an already dangerous thoroughfare.
Housing development would seriously increase the amount of run-off water from the site, limiting the area where surface water can naturally be absorbed.
The proposed site is at the centre of the village which has historically been seriously flooded, twice in the last 5 years, There is already an unresolved issue of surface water flowing into the crossroads from the small housing development to the west of the B1077 at that point during times of heavy rain. No school, no pub.
