Representation ID: 1533
Received: 02/08/2021
Respondent: Wicklewood Resident
I am very concerned that as a resident on the Hackford Road and at the edge of the previously agreed settlement limit, the new proprosals would severely impact our existing rural location and may lead to further ribbon/infill development down the Green and along the Wymondham Road.

QUESTION 156: Do you support
Representation ID: 1549
Received: 02/08/2021
Respondent: Wicklewood Resident
With the new proposed development there would be increased traffic on the already busy Hackford Rd. and this would present a particular added danger around the bends by Wicklewood Primary School. The single track routes especially the Green but also Milestone would become congested unbefitting of a rural location.
The added light and noise pollution is also of concern.
There is already an issue around inadequate parking for Wicklewood Primary School users and the new proposed developments would inevitably make this worse.
Our existing services would be spread more thinly; for example the broadband provision is already 'patchy and slow'.

QUESTION 157: Do you support
Representation ID: 1552
Received: 02/08/2021
Respondent: Wicklewood Resident
I am very concerned that the proposed access and egress from this development is directly opposite our driveway and will inevitably cause issues around road safety on the Hackford Rd on what is already a fast double bend on which road regulations are abused by a high proportion of drivers.
As a resident living directly opposite to this proposed development, I am concerned about the extra noise, light and air pollution in our existing rural area. Personally speaking, it will severely interrupt the rural view, a reason why we chose this location, and impact both my physical and mental wellbeing.
