Little Melton has already had more development than the local facilities can cope with. There have been 1200 houses built at Hethersett within a kilometre of Little Melton without any more facilities apart from disjointed cycle paths. The Doctors surgery cannot cope with the numbers already and any more houses in Little Melton would just make this worse. The traffic from Hethersett is already making the roads in Little Melton busier. Little Melton shop has been up for sale for some time and may not be open much longer.
