After reading the reasons for the rejected sites I cannot understand why Hapton is the preferred option. The reasons why the other sites were rejected apply to Hapton too.
-traffic issues (which will increase with the bypass)
-site connectivity
-no amenities
-impact on local buildings
-adverse impact on landscape.
All of the above apply to Hapton as well as water pressure, drainage and existing broadband, telephone issues.
With the bypass with housing developments already in the vicinity how can this be justified? If you want to improve our community then slow the traffic and reduce the hgv’s in our village.
