Representation ID: 2363

Received: 18/02/2023

Respondent: Mr Tony Kemsley

Legally compliant? Yes

Sound? No

Duty to co-operate? Yes

Representation Summary:

• How will 35 more houses support the vitality of the village, when previous housing developments have not prevented closure of the village shop, butcher and a restaurant?
• The village suffers from poor sewage and drainage systems, with frequent callouts, in a village that is already a flood risk.
• More houses will put further pressure on the volume of traffic and on a bridge that is in a pitiful state of repair
• Doctors’ surgeries are already stretched without adding further local houses

Change suggested by respondent:

No further building will benefit Bawburgh in any way, other than for the landowner/developer..
