Representation Summary:
With regards to Village facilities, the primary school is currently full to capacity. If the Plan is followed for this Village cluster then there will be an additional 50 households. There is not capacity in the primary school for a significant increase in the number of children requiring a place at the school.
There is no bus service to Poringland for services such as doctors and pharmacies, shopping etc, thus requiring private car journeys to access such facilities.
The number of additional houses in the Plan is thus not sustainable for this location.
Change suggested by respondent:
Reduce the planned number of new homes.
