Respondent: Ms Susan Stacey

Legally compliant? Yes

Sound? No

Duty to co-operate? Yes

Representation Summary:

The number of households proposed will increase the pressure on local services and road infrastructure. Also what is meant by ‘approximately’ 25 dwellings? Is 25 the maximum number? A concern is that once initial planning consent is given for a site then developers will try to increase the density to make a site more profitable. Nowhere in the VCHAP have I seen what measures will be taken to prevent such increases.

Change suggested by respondent:

Reduce the number of houses planned to reduce the impact on local services and infrastructure. Also include measures to prevent developers trying to increase the number of houses on sites once planning consent given for sites.
