Representation Summary:

There is a lack of adequate bus services from the Village to both Norwich and Poringland and most journeys will be by private vehicles. All roads leading into Alpington, Yelverton and Bergh Apton are at various places single lane with informal passing places. There are very few footpaths so that pedestrians have to walk on the roads. Road condition and safety already suffers due to the number of vehicle journeys to and from the A146 and an increase of 25 households in Alpington will make this worse. There are already too many many vehicle journeys in the village.

Change suggested by respondent:

25 extra houses in Alpington would be too many and there is a brownfield site in Bergh Apton that is suitable for any extra housing.
