Representation Summary:

I am concerned that the village settlement limit can be varied by SNC to accommodate up to 25 new houses. Rockland is a linear style village and should remain so .The expansion to accommodate the recently built Eel Catchers Close and the proposed new builds that will once again need the settlement limit to be changed thereby moving the tight boundaries that have kept the village in its linear form.

Change suggested by respondent:

Rockland has had sufficient new building in the recent past (Eel Catchers Close (ECC), Bee Orchid Way (BOW) and various infills) and has reached the stage where further development should be halted. 25 new houses on an estate just round the corner from two other estates will increase the number of vehicle movements on a crowded road unacceptably.
