Representation Summary:

Road safety is compromised. 25 houses an average 2.5 vehicles per property equates to 125 vehicle movements daily. Due to the linear design the village is already congested with on street parking in particular the area from the surgery and shop up to School Lane. Journeys from this development to these venues will almost certainly be by car. The village is the route for Langly School minibuses(6) and there is a regular bus service. Traffic diverts from the A146 whenever there are issues with that road.

Change suggested by respondent:

Developments should adhere to the linear design of the village and not encroach into surrounding farmland, which should be used for food production.
