Representation Summary:

The existing houses at Eel Catcher Close were built under a Section 106 agreement for the benefit of local people. Any new housing in this area would involve extending the settlement boundary.
Rockland St Mary has already had several parcels of new housing. 25 houses on this land would involve an excessive increase in traffic through the village. The entrance to the site will be located on an area of road already considered dangerous.
The development would be out of character with linear development creating a block of houses.
Detrimental to the rural feel of the village and landsape.

Change suggested by respondent:

If there must be development in this area it should be reduced in size and continue the linear development of Eel Catcher Close.
