Access to the proposed site at a very dangerous stretch of road close to junctions with Green
Lane and Eel Catcher Close Three accidents in last twelve months have been recorded.. Amber listing for the Highways safety is far to low.
The proposed route of the pathway to the back of Eel catcher close, would intrude on the very short gardens and therefore privacy of the residents. The pathway would open onto The Street where there is no pavement at all on that side where the road is very narrow and is on a
blind corner.
This plan needs to be abandoned. There is no way to access the site safely. The footpath would destroy privacy and would be pointless as no pavement where it emerges and a mile from the village amenities.
