I object to this statement- The main settlement of Tacolneston was established well before the Domesday Book of 1086, this is the north area of the village where the Church, Pub and village primary school are located within the conservation area which also includes the southern gardens of the estate development of Dovedale, Knipe built in the 60's. (Not as suggested above)
A further settlement limit 1200m south offers no facilities/amenities, only housing established in more recent years.
A more transparent character appraisal correctly identifying the center of the old established village including amenities (location)
