Representation Summary:

The increase in vehicle numbers will have a knock on effect, increasing the parking congestion on The Street between the shop and School Lane. Parked cars here are already a problem due to the school and village hall. This and the bends in the road has historically made this a dangerous place for cars, cyclists and particularly pedestrians - most notably school children. Any increase in the number of parked cars will exasperate this problem of safety as well as compromising the amenity of residents due to noise, air pollution and the fact that driveways are not easily accessible.

Change suggested by respondent:

Reject the proposed site. Developments should be planned on sites that do not increase vehicle congestion and therefore danger in villages - particularly one street villages.
