Village Clusters Housing Allocations Plan - Alternative Sites & Focused Changes (Reg. 18)

Representation ID: 3291

Received: 01/01/2024

Respondent: Professor Stephen Brown

Representation Summary:

This consultation deliberately leaves out inconvenient facts that could affect how people reading the proposals might feel about them.
As recently as August 2021, SNDC said that in Wicklewood:
“Hackford and Wymondham Roads benefit from extensive views of the surrounding countryside”.
“The primary school is operating near or at capacity. Further exploration will be needed to ensure primary school needs can be met.”.
These are material facts. The school lacks capacity to support the development and the development would irrevocably destroy the countryside views.
