The proposed site falls outside of the existing settlement boundary and, given that we have already had over 80 new homes built in the village recently with another 30 to follow, it just feels as though this is an economic exercise rather than a planning one. Little Melton is attractive as an option for developers as property prices here are high but that does not justify adding more houses to the village.
