The impact of 'NEW1' is currently unknown and requires careful consideration before approval of additional sites.
Potential impact here can already be gleaned from looking at experiences in nearby villages which have recently experienced problems with GP capacity in Long Stratton and Hethersett to which this can only add. Additionally, the village primary school has no additional space with temporary classrooms installed following the last major expansion still in operation.
Increased traffic volume is a major safety concern on Alan Avenue and A140/Flordon Road junction which is already dangerous. Heavy rain already causes drainage and sewerage issues in the vicinity
