Object to the land adjacent to the laurels. Large dwelling would not be in keeping with settlement line. The land at the rear has many trees and removing these would harm form and character of village. A small dwelling of 2-4 houses would represent a more reasonable and sustainable development.

We wholeheartedly object to the proposed plans for site reference SN0538REV. The report states there will be no impact on views for neighbouring properties however, the plan clearly outlines the development will run the whole length of our garden and our neighbour’s and will completely block the field views from ours and a number of other properties. If this proposed site goes ahead effectively we will have houses along the full length of our garden. Therefore the report has not taken reasonable consideration of the neighbouring properties views or the fact that our property will inevitably loose value.

This site does not conform to the linear nature of the current residential dwellings, and will alter the character of the village. The quote from the Design Officer "I do not consider the landscape gap to be significant in terms of views" is disingenuous; this development will abut our garden and will remove the view. It will also destroy the privacy of our home, which we've worked hard and sacrificed to afford; I object to this vehemently. I can't put into words how strongly I feel that this would be a disgusting imposition on existing residents.

We have already suffered loss of light to our property by the construction of a house in a too-constrained site between us and the formerly next door neighbours. This development would shade our property from another side, meaning this effect is felt for more hours of the day. Houses built where you propose will overlook our garden and conservatory and we will lose our privacy. Also please note the existing settlement line on the plan appears to be incorrect and excludes parts of our and our neighbours’ properties.

I object to the further development north of Bunwell street under SN0538REV which will not be in keeping with the village even more so if the land opposite on Lilac farm is subsequently developed which will create a housing estate within the village. Also Traffic through the village is at an unacceptable level as it is .

Another confusing question. To clarify for avoidance of doubt, I feel that none of the shortlisted sites should be rejected.

No, the shortlisted sites should not be rejected as outlined in Q39 response, they should be considered for a preferred site

I OBJECT to the proposal for a 25 house development on Site SN0538REV which is totally out of proportion to the other smaller scale developments within such a rural village like Bunwell. Previous planning stated that Bunwell would not have in-fill all along the street as it would destroy the character of the village. This proposed massive development would do exactly that. Some break in the line of housing along Bunwell Street should be maintained via protecting this field view.
The proposal should be rejected for all the reasons given for the rejection of sites SN0009 and SN2001SL.

SN0539 & SN0538REV
There has been no consideration for the established properties, will completely destroy the linear layout and current field views. They will over populate this part of the village.

Development on site SN0538REV risks damaging the current linear layout of the village, ignoring the existing development boundary on either side and creates an opportunity for cul-de-sac/estate style design which is not in keeping with the character of the village.
