No. Wicklewood lacks sufficient road/other infrastructure to support extending the Settlement Limit(SL). Junctions with single-track lanes bordering the proposals, double bends and increasingly heavy/volumes of traffic mean Hackford Road is dangerous already. 4 accidents in 100m near school in recent years. (See separate letter). It would be harmful to the open spacious landscape character of the immediate locality, a positive influence to everyone's mental health travelling through Wicklewood. Proposal "thin edge of wedge". SNDC's policy "no more than 12-25 homes on any site(s)". Flash-flooding risk. Parish Council opposes development beyond the existing SL, that proposals imply. Opportunities exist for infill.
