Received: 15/01/2024

Respondent: Mr David Catchpole

Representation Summary:

Flooding is an issue in several places in Barford. Proper drainage will need to be implemented so that the current flooding concerns are resolved and the new drainage is sufficient to not worsen the current situation.
Note diverting water into existing ditches is not the answer as they can not cope now and have overflowed even when the ditches are maintained

Speed calming measures will need to be put in place.
-Watton Road, currently 40 reduce to 30mph-Cock Street, introduction of sleeping policeman and chicanes to slow traffic down.-Church Lnne/Chapel Street-ditto above
-Introduction of street lighting in Cock Street
