This allocation should be part of the total number originally allocated to Alpington with Yelverton, and NOT in addition to it. Development needs to be carefully designed so that the integrity of Stacey Cottage is not compromised, and therefore be of a traditional nature. Should this site be approved, and not come within the total allocation, I would vehemently oppose all other developments which might take the total over the allocation. The village should not be a dumping ground because other sites have been withdrawn.
