South Norfolk Village Clusters Housing Allocations Plan (Reg. 18 Draft)

Representation ID: 410

Received: 14/07/2021

Respondent: Steven and Glynis Watling

Number of people: 2

Representation Summary:

We would like to oppose this rejection. Our reasons are as follows:-

1. You have set a precedent with the land to the east of Stocks Hill site No SN4053.

2. Our site, site No SN0002SL, does not infringe on any other neighboring properties as it is completely surrounded by mature trees and hedging.

3. You have mentioned that if you gave approval, this might give other properties along Stocks hill president to build in their gardens. This would not be posible as all the other gardens in Stocks Hill are not big enough to build. Ours is by far the biggest plot.

4. The reason for us wanting to build is that we love living in Bawburgh but it is becoming too much for us to keep the garden up. We belive that what we have achieved a property of great character and a big asset to the village in the 16 years we have been here. The new property would be of the same spec as The Brambles but with more eco friendly efficiency paying particular attention to green issues.

We hope these reasons are enough for you to re-consider your decision to reject the proposal.
