• would add more traffic to High Green creating a danger for pedestrians and school children
• small copse/wood at the end of a cul-de-sac in Astley Cooper Place, is home to bats, barn owls, woodpeckers
• fields and woodland is also the home to other wildlife – many deer, hares
• The site shape would result in a very linear type of development
• Drainage in the area is poor already
