Significant ongoing drainage problems.
We are not on mains drainage and ANY development has an impact on the community with regard to water and sewer waste disposal.
The soil is primarily clay which doesn't allow easy dispersal of water and heavy downpours result in flooded and waterlogged areas.
Percolation tests need to be carried out during wetter conditions to give a true picture of the problem.
I accept the Government requirement for more housing but until this area is upgraded onto mains drainage, any further development will be detrimental to the residents here.
