Village Clusters Housing Allocations Plan - Main Modifications document

Amend Policy VC LM1 as follows:

Policy VC LM1REV: South of School Lane and East of Burnthouse Lane

3.80ha of land is allocated for approximately 35 up to 45 dwellings.

Amend criteria to read:

• AccessThe access road across the southeast section of the site, between the two elements to be developed two areas for development, tomust be sympathetic to the setting of the listed barn. The access road must be situated as far as practicable from the barn and be appropriately landscaped to ensure a suitable setting for the listed building is maintained;
• TheNorfolk’s Historic Environment Service isRecord to be consulted prior to application to determine the need for, and the extent of, any archaeological assessments surveys prior to development; and
• Early engagement with Anglian Water regarding the need to phase development within the catchment of Whitlingham Water Recycling Centre; and

Make consequential changes to the supporting text.

Make update to the following paragraph and the Little Melton Policy Map to reflect modifications to the settlement limit:

Following a site assessment, part of a site promoted through the Plan process has been included within the amended Settlement Limit on land north of Great Melton Road, as well as a further modest area of development at School Lane. The Settlement Limit excludes the allotments which run between Great Melton Road and Mill Road.
